When you guarantee a lifetime of servitude with nothing but borderline economic destitution as a reward, you truly expect students to value education? Do you expect students of color to hear 1000s of stories of innocent (debate able) people being murdered by cops and alleged supremacists to think there’s a picket fence waiting for them in their future? Or do you expect them to turn to thuggery and rebellion? Instead of bullshitting absolutely everyone, bring competency back to our leadership to straighten out our issue of inflation and lawlessness. Show that there is a picket fence waiting for real. Or we’ll continue to see this but worse with every day.
