Not really brave. After almost dying in a stupid household accident, during which I collapsed to the kitchen floor saying to myself, “You are NOT going to be one of those people that dies in a stupid household accident! NOW GTF UP AND GET HELP!”, I decided I have been far too cautious in my life. It’s now or never. FYI, It was an arterial bleed, I was home alone, in the country, cell service out, no landline. Bled through three towels in a few minutes, fighting unconsciousness. Stumbled my way to the nearest secondary road. Finally a car stopped and called paramedics. It was terrifying. Now, I go, see, do. I’m not wreckless, but I am bold. I’d rather die on an adventure than during a freak accident washing dishes.
