Quit screaming like an autistic person for other people to do the work you don't feel like doing. Regular ass people are the ones running food non profits, farming locally, installing solar panels, building wind turbines, enacting local policies. Join up. If you're unwilling to do that, you don't get to complain about why the world isn't a utopia, quit making life less peaceful for the people that actually have enough initiative and discipline to engage the problem directly.
People being unhinged and condescending little babies on social media or on a street corner does absolutely nothing to solve the problem, all it does is stoke spiritual ego. The baseless self-righteousness is utterly nauseating. Every last person is capable of contributing actionable effort to these causes. You just don't want to because you're fucking lazy and have no purpose in life, you take everything for granted, and you think you're entitled to a perfect world without putting in any work, so you just sit around waiting for everyone else to solve societal problems. Screaming for others to solve problems when you could just become a politician, engineer, technician, non profit food worker, co-op founder, or the multitude of other positions that would actually make a difference.
The utter lack of humility and respect "activists" have for anyone other than people who regurgitate their own navel gazing bullshit is so pathetic, and completely unforgivable, but they'll never realize the scale of their bullshit because they think they're the tip of the spear for the people who are actually working in sustainable industries. As an engineer working in sustainability, you don't fucking represent me, you're a parasite who's stealing valor, that's it, that's all you are.
