As a black lefty, I always cringe whenever people (usually other lefties) take the diversity thing this far. It's as if no country is allowed to have a white majority and have that reflected in their society. None of these people would say something like this about China, Nigeria, Japan, Jamaica just for a few examples.

I think it comes from a place of acknowledging the racism and the crimes of European and Western colonialism, but they just take it way too far until they start making no sense whatsoever. It's great to acknowledge these crimes, but to then turn around and attack any sort of "promotion" or representation of "whiteness" is absolutely absurd and this is the kind of thing that leads reactionary right-wingers to start spreading conspiracies like "The Great replacement."
