My buddy from college is a journalist and got to play the new Melty Blood. He didn't tell me much but here's what he did tell me.

> Miyako, Roa, Hisui, Kohaku, Akiha, Shiki, Kouma, Noel, Vurovu (White hair guy in the tsukihime trailer), Arcueid, Ciel, and Beowulf from Mahou Tsukai no Yoru are in.

> It's a non-canon spinoff that takes place a week before Tsukihime.

> Most characters are their crescent moon variants but a couple are Full and Half moons.

> Vurovu will play similarly to Hilda and even has a command grab.

> Will release early-October on PS4, Xbox, and Switch with GGPO netcode.

> Original Melty characters won't be in.

> New mechanic called "Moon Drive" with unique abilities and extra movement utility.

> Will have expansions
