T-FSA troops engage in combat in Afrin suburbs

Besides some ATGM's, all the Kurds really have is small arms. The biggest military power in the region, Turkey, is supporting the FSA with attack helicopters, fast jets, artillery, technicals and armoured vehicles - as well as troops - all from the land border that surrounds the top of the enclave.

It was a different story when the US led coalition was helping the Kurds to pound the fuck outta ISIS. They really don't have any hope of holding up against this kind of an opponent, certainly not when their biggest supporter can't get involved since they're allied with Turkey.

It's a big political victory for him. Militarily, it comes as no surprise.
