I think this is a great area of rules but I’m in recovery and when I was 22 (12 years ago) I got busted for misdemeanor shoplifting 28 dollar pants at target. I moved away from the city I live in to get sober and came back. It’s been over a decade and just don’t even think about it. I’m not on any probation or anything and haven’t gotten in trouble but I still get sweated by them because I’m so recognizable. Am I trespassing? Can they call the cops? I really am serious that I am not a criminal and not looking for any “inside info” that isn’t me anymore. I wouldn’t even be typing this except for I’ve been told by people who know, that they have shared my picture with other stores in the area. I have a very unique look. I’m not gonna get into that but let’s just say I made an impression 12 years ago. I want to go talk to them but I also just want to let sleeping dogs lie so to speak....any insight? (Again, I wouldn’t open a candy bar without paying for it first because I know that I don’t blend in) thanks guys
