Canadian developed video-game "Cuphead" sells over 1 million units:

PS4: press the ps button on one of 3 controllers, or media remote, to bring system out of rest mode and instantly into the last game that was on. Put system back into rest mode when done.

  • 3 seconds, 1 step, perhaps 3 feet of distance at most.

PC: dig my laptop out of my work bag or disconnect it from my home work station (kitchen table), carry it into the living room where the TV is, dig out an HDMI cable from somewhere and plug it (unless I want an ugly ass cable hanging about all the time), turn on PC, enter password or use fingerprint scanner, make sure editing software isn't running and hogging up RAM, open steam, wait for loading, navigate to the game, launch game, wait for loading, dick around with PS4 controllers until they all get connected (then later, dick around again to reconnect them to PS4), and then finally you can play. And repeat virtually every step again when you're done.

  • 10-15 minutes, 18 steps, at least a dozen feet of distance, and an absurd amount of hassle.

You do you, but for me, a single game is not worth all that.
