There’s a woman outside of my house who’s been there for about an hour. She keeps knocking and ringing the bell which sends my dog crazy. I’m 16M home alone and she won’t leave. More below.

I'm from belgium, eastern flanders specificly. And i get that if you live in a sketchy or dangerous neighbourhoud opening the door is a bad idea. It just baffles me that thousands of people in these comments are acting like this is a normal thing. And don't get me wrong i don't think OP is bad or anything like that it just seems a little weird to me. Everyone i know thinks it's normal for a 16 year old to open the door when someone unknown knocks on it.

Maybe i've just not experienced living in the type of area. I'm sure people think it's weird the other way around that 16 year old me opened the door for strangers. Either way i meant no offense i'm sorry if i came off the wrong way.
