Thread: Simple Questions

Hi! First time posting here :) I'm looking for a foundation recommendation. I'm a 23 year old femlale, and I have very persistent adult acne. My skin is weird. It's like oily from within, and then it can be dry & flaky on the surface if anyone knows what I mean. It's been a bit better lately because of my skincare routine, but it makes finding a foundation that will actually look good difficult. I just want a nice somewhat natural looking glowy but not oily look. I like medium to full coverage and definitely long wearing. I've tried EL doublewear and I do love it for the wear time and oil control, but I found it a little too cakey and it clung to my dry patches at times. I absolutely love the Loreal true match foundation. The finish is more natural looking to me as it's not a flat matte and it blends so nice and isn't cakey at all, but unfortunately it doesn't last long on me without getting oily even with a powder :( I also like Rimmel 24hr finish for the same reasons as the true match, it has a more natural finish but I can't find the right color in that one since the shades are limited. I've tried the Tarte amazonian clay one and it got a bit oily eventually as well. Does anyone have a good recommendation? High end or drug store would be great, although if there's an amazing drugstore one for me I'd rather try that first because I have bought too many foundations at this point! Thanks so much!
