Toni Nadal: Rafael is pain-free, in top shape and awfully dangerous

luckily, it didn't end up with the one with more rest winning in 2012 and 2009

2012

Mwahaha, I guess they should've awarded the title to Djokovic once he went 2 sets to 1 up, right? Because the only way Nadal could've won was by outlasting poor Novak who got robbed of his precious rest time and had a more difficult semi, to boot.

Yet, amazingly, a lot of Rafa fans are pained to this day about him losing from a break up in the fifth, and understandably consider it one of Nadal's most heartbreaking losses ever.

And I don't suppose you'd be going about how Rafael did not deserve to win had he held that break advantage to the victorious end, would you? Somehow, I can't picture a genuine Nadal fan bemoaning a Slam victory over one of his biggest rivals on the grounds of "unfair semifinal scheduling" to the point of saying "Djokovic was robbed, this win doesn't count, sorry fellow Rafa fans".

Of course, since in this case, Godal is the victim rather than the victor, you're ever so happy to announce that mugerer's fluke win doesn't really count. What a hypocrite.
