That means that at any time, some Law Enforcement dick could randomly select you to have an example made for something that you probably thought was perfectly legal. You are harmed.

Alternatively, something that is legal and acceptable now may well get you labeled a terrorist in the near future. Religious fanatic the world over would love to make it a jailable offense to use birth control. Hoplophobes would love to see gun owners jailed (or in some cases killed). SJWs want any speech (that they) find offensive to be punishable under the law. There are a billion things that you may find to be perfectly reasonable behaviors that lawmakers want to villify, instantly turning you into a terrorist.

Some of this certainly sounds like hyperbolic screeching. Some of it is. But the sheer mass of selfish "regular joes" trying to convince people that everything is okay requires some hyperbolic screeching to counteract. Keep your head buried in the sand if you like, but if you know that something is wrong, at least refrain from trying to convince people that everything's okay as long as they conform.
