If I cross by land to Cambodia or Malaysia or Laos, these have extradition policies with Thailand. My passport is still with the police, and if I escape I will lose the 750,000 baht and my lawyer will lose money also(I think). My lawyer is convinced that if I can crowdfund enough money, it may be possible to be acquitted of the crime and not have to return to prison. For now, I am trying to work within the system to be acquitted so I can return to Thailand and get my passport and phone back.

I am a bit hesistant to give out too many details as this is a public forum. If a moderator on here can verify for me, I would prefer that. I can give my name, passport number, and can call the embassy to confirm. My police report is public record.
