Why transgederism is banned?

No one is entitled to or has a right to join the military, plain and simple. This idea that EVERYONE must be included is crazy. The military bans people who are too tall, too short, too fat. Bans those with medical conditions like asthma and many others. Bans those with a criminal history, certain drug use and tattoos (dependent on what they are and where they are located)

Additionally, having your gender re-assignment surgery is a 100% elective surgery. So you may say, big deal if that's what it takes to get someone on the right track mentally. Well I say, fuck that. Because as it stands right now, the military will not pay for MANY elective procedures which include Botox and IVF.

As someone who is currently serving, I do not care that a transgender wants to join and serve. My only thing is that they must already be transitioned. There is no reason why the military should pay for it. Also, a man transitioning to a woman now has it easier when it comes to physical test...so a man now only has to pass the woman's test where-as a woman who transitioned to male would have to pass the more difficult male physical test. This is just one of the many issues. There are tons of psychological issues that come with gender reassignment surgery. The suicide rates among transgender are through the roof. Also, it is such a small percentage of the united states population..let alone the military which is already only 1% of the population.
