I think it is always been performative with him, but bc he’s GoOfY so it’s not as in your face and desperate.

He doesn’t care about the horrible things that Pat did before during or after frenemies.

If he ever truly cared about the antisemitism and other inappropriate behaviors coming from Pat, then he wouldn’t have done the show in the first place. Trisha is a disgusting creator and platforming her again makes Ethan just as bad.
