I just find Liberal MPs who voted against Gay Marriage on multiple occasions, right up until they weren't given a choice on the matter, like Rex Murphy, casting shade on Politicians who don't unequivocally support Transgender Bathroom rights sorta funny.

But you know. "Hur dur it was a different time, that's why I didn't vote for it, hur dur dur."

No explanation of why McKay did vote in favour of Gay Marriage in spite of it being a "Different Time", of course.

So you know. Just give McKay another 20 years, then he can be a hero to the LGBT community like Rex "I voted down multiple Gay Marriage bills" Murphy and his pals in the Liberal Party who did the same.
