I try to be myself and everyone tell me I can't be this or that

life is a series of challenges intended to be conquered. they say suck it up buttercup for a reason. you simply need to rise to the occasion. rather than rejecting it entirely. it is also important to realize that you may want to respect others as well rather than harass them with the excuse of being yourself. i personally like to find a healthy balance between self expression and respect for those around me. you can be yourself 100% of the time without throwing it in peoples faces. expression i like a little dance we do for attention. so perhaps there may be something deeper that needs to be addressed .. but at the end of the say id say rise to the occasion. its like the old saying, "when life hands you lemons, make lemonade". the challenges that are the most difficult yield the biggest reward, and end up actually being meaningful. i have been to hell and back and can 100% say it was worth it, and if my life was easy id be a garbage person without any wisdom or concept of what it means to be alive.
