Twitch sent out a cease and desist notice to Overrustle Logs and are now shutting down by May 1st

it's about discouraging it and increasing the level of effort so that the people that still do it will be small enough they can ignore.

Server was really cheap to rent given all of the Data they currently had on hand. It was like $50 a month according to their patreon.

It costs twitch probably a few hundred to a few thousand to get their lawyers to go through the whole process of getting and then issuing the C&D to these sites.

Twitch is attempting to cut the head off of the snake now, but 2 more will grow in place for each head lopped off. There are a lot of people that are gonna be a lot more willing to make a site that does exactly the same since the code to do basically everything was already released.

Chances are an actual private version will exist too that twitch will not have any knowledge off and some streamer will have the ultimate birds eye view of chat logs
