U.S. CDC: "We're asking folks in every sector, as well as people within their families, to start planning for this, because as we've seen from the recent countries that have had community spread, when it hit in those countries, it has moved quite rapidly"

Exactly!!!!!

I have been following the WHO website. They provide daily status reports with the information they receive.

In China

On feb 22 - deaths - 2348

On feb 25 - deaths - 2348

Outside of china

On feb 22 - deaths - 11

On feb 25 - deaths - 11

From the diamond princess - deaths - 2

Deaths were majority elderly cases.

Even if China is not reporting correctly the rest of the world would be.

So since december last year just 2361 people have died of COVID19. 13 of which were outside China.

Not to be that person who compares covid to flu (I already know it isnt flu - the symptoms are just very similar) Flu has already killed more than 3x as many people this flu season ALONE worldwide, including 105 children in the US.

Panicking about COVID19 whilst also thinking that flu wont get you is silly. How do you preppers plan to not get flu or Ebola even which is still going strong but no one has been reporting on it.

I'm in the UK. I'm not a panicker I guess, but, and hear me out here, I think that a lot of the confirmed deaths in china (at least in the beginning - before they started implementing testing) could have been flu deaths that got lumped in with COVID19 because the causes of death would have been fairly similar.

Everyone here is telling everyone not to panic whilst panicking. Just breathe guys. Seriously.

(Before anyone claims I am shilling for china. I hate ccp. Xi looks and is winnie the pooh. Fuck the chinese government.)
