UC to UC Transfer

Hey! I actually have personal experience with this. I was a freshman at UCR last year. Someone on my dorm floor realized pretty early on that UCR wasn’t for him so he applied to transfer to UCSC in November and was accepted as a sophmore transfer for this year. Honestly I can’t estimate your chances on your chances to transfer from UC to UC, but just know they give priority to Community College students over UC. Plus, you will be competing with students who are guarantee to the UC of their choice.

Here’s their priority list California community college > out of state community college > csu > uc

I really do recommend giving UCR a chance cause it is a good school with a great community. If that’s not the case for you, good luck on transferring.
