Unpopular opinion: I wish they chose a different case instead of The Clinton scandal

And what ACS does in every season is to present a near accusation depiction of the actual crime rather than how the media or popular belief presented the case. I'm aware that bullying, high school pressure, violence in popular culture all those elements that the media said was the root cause of what those two boys did - is nonsense, it's obviously much more complex than that and I'm sure no one will ever know the motive, the hows, the whys of this case.

And also, I'm glad you mentioned Cullen's book. I read it about 10 years ago and I thought that the structure of the book would have worked if one did a film of this case; cutting back and forth from the aftermath of the tragedy and the build up to it.

I know it's strange to talk about this grim, tragic case in movie terms but just bare will me; if someone does want to make a depiction of this event, I don't think they need to film the actually recreation of the massacre (the same way in ACS - they didn't show the actual sexual acts between Clinton & Lewinsky or the actual grisly murders of Ron & Nicole).

Again, this is such a grim, depressing story that even as I'm writing this - IDK if people could sit through it and see a dramatic version of this horrible event. But it's just an idea.
