Player development isn’t v impressive. Greenwood is a generational talent, Martial, Rashford and McTominay are young enough that you expect progress every season. Fred is not even a starter now.

The only mercenary I recall signing was DiMaria. Most players we’ve signed haven’t had that issue. And most of Ole’s signings have been glaringly obvious, do you credit a manager with signing two of the most expensive defenders in the world who are already capped with England? It’s not quiet like signing a Salah.
