I would give Coutinho 1 more season before deciding to sell him. He is so hot and cold and too inconsistent.

When he first arrived he played for half a season (18 league matches) and finished with 8 goals and 5 assists. This season he has played 33 league matches and only has 5 goals and 2 assists to his name.

We have seen countless times that he possesses the ability to score absolute beauties but he is so goddamn inconsistent. He needs to prove himself next season by scoring and/or assisting way more than he is right now because once Messi starts to slow down (and Suarez as well), we need to rely on our new striker as well as Dembele and Coutinho himself to keep the goals coming in.

I do not think it is wise selling him this summer mostly because no club would be willing to match what we paid or even a bit less at the moment. It is a difficult situation for sure, but he needs to get his act together next year and he definitely can! If not, no hard feelings but not everyone can make it at Barca.
