I'm honestly still a little bitter about this update and it's leaving a poor taste in my mouth. As someone who legitimately is OCD when it comes to collecting things this is frustrating. I don't play many gacha games but the ones I do play I've never had this much issues with events--because admittedly I usually will drop money for the units, or in the case of some games it's just skins which I don't care about.

But ironically this banner is so bad it completely discouraged me from spending because I know I won't end up with all three units due to the inflated odds of the other units. Using my saved crystals I drew ten times on the Fennec banner and came out with two unrelated 5*. To be honest, if the banner were like the Korean version I probably would have dropped a decent amount of money to ensure I get at least one copy of each child, but as it is now there's just no point in dropping a cent. There's no way I'm spending more than $150 (the 18k crystals in shop) when that gives me less draws than my savings, which still couldn't net me a single copy. I hope more events don't follow this route because the game's gonna die at this rate. With a permanent 3 missing from my collection I've got no reason to attempt getting any other units so I won't be spending another dollar on the app ever again, and I'm sure others are going to do the same. Whales are going to keep fueling the game for a while, but after this I see DC losing out on a hefty chunk of money still.

TLDR; event sucks so bad it turned me off whaling, as someone who usually spends at least $50 on every second or third banner and buys all passes. Just needed to vent my frustration with the event, because these limited units hurt my soul.
