Vaccination pericarditis sufferer fights bureaucracy

I had a reaction to my first vaccine, I felt fine for the first 2/3 days just the usual sore arm ect. On the 4th day I was watching TV with my partner and suddenly started sweating profusely. I took my T-shirt off and could literally see my heart beating through my chest. It lasted for around 20/30 seconds and that was it, the next morning went to my GP and explained what happened and let him know I had recently received my first shot and I was met with “ It’s funny how everyone blames everything now on the vaccine”.

I’m a 28 year old fit male who trains 4/5 times a week and had no prior health scares, why wouldn’t I let him know I thought it could of been a vaccine side effect.

I did a handful of ECGs over the space of two days and it showed I had a slightly high heart rate, my blood tests results came back ok. So my doctor put it down to panic attacks which I’ve never suffered with.

Luckily 2/3 weeks later any pain I had in my chest went, I now put some of this pain down to the extremely swollen lymph nodes I had in my nipple area but I was surprised how dismissive my doctor was with any concerns I had.

Safe to say that’s the last time I visited that GP clinic.
