Contestants or crew on reality TV shows, what don't we as an audience?

I was on My Fairytale Disney Wedding on Freeform Network. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding on the show. All I can say is it is very very manipulated. We'd be having casual conversation and the producers would be like "Stop! Could you start over the conversation?" or "why don't you guys start talking about this?" There was a scene where they wanted to show the bride and groom passing notes and she had to call over to their room. It was all fake. She never actually called them.

For the actual wedding ceremony- they got married, and exchanged rings etc, walked down the aisle to exit and then "CUT! BACK TO YOUR PLACES" they had everyone file back in. Cleaned up all the rose petals, cue the music and start all over. When the bride and groom were infront of each other the director yelled "SAY YOUR LINES AGAIN!" lines? you mean his vows?

It was a crazy long day. Exhausting. I was snapping at the producers micromanaging everything. It was very fake, over the top and everyone at the wedding was pretty miserable by the end of it.

Looked great on TV though!
