Van Gaal and Woodward set for talks over Falcao's Manchester United future

It's honestly very hard to predict a youth talent to be "United quality" because its just so hard to be the best against the very best- which is exactly the quality United look for. That's why the class of 92 was such a blessing, and why people have said our youth system has gotten weaker. You cant expect United to continuously promote the talent that is strong enough to play in their top 15 players, especially with the money and continuous success we have. Some were (and possibly still are- unless they're typical redditors who flip flop on their opinions of players based solely on the last performance they had) critical of Adnan not being first team, but imo he will come through. It also looks good for Paddy, hopefully he keeps improving. We are in a very good era of our youth system, imo. We still have possible great talents like: Pereira, Blacklett, Pearson (who I love).

But now, we are not just talking about any position we are talking about the Striker, the most coveted, spectacular position for a person on the field. This position is the creme of the crop and for United to have a youth prospect there, he must be truly incredible. And the truth is, I see where your coming from. You think he'll turn out to be a good player, but not great.

But I respectfully disagree. I (an american- there goes my entire credibility I just spent trying to build up) have been preaching this guy to all of my housemates (AC Milan, Chelsea, and super casual soccerwhoopsies football! fans) that this guy will be the next big deal. Hes not super flashy or scores truly incredible goals or wows at any one factor, but I think he is excellent at a lot of aspects and still has plenty of room for growth. His pace is great, protecting the ball is good, he makes EXCELLENT runs and is lethal inside the box- a trait we have yet to see at the top level for him. In my opinion he will grow to be the next RVP, except with much better speed. I hope he takes a lot from RVPs game in the next couple years, because I totally see him developing into the striker that will score us 25 a season- maybe never lead the league, but always be a top, top striker. One thats good enough to lead the attacking threat of United. One that's good enough to be said with the names of Catona, Rooney, Cole, Van Nistelrooy.

Obviously I am a huge fan of Wilson and I'd love hear your opinion of why you don't think he'll make it. It is, after all, it's extremely difficult, but lets hope for our sakes, you're wrong! Cheers :D
