Scientists warn that the largest glacier in east Antarctica is melting more rapidly than any other, and contains enough water to raise global sea levels by 11 feet,

Seawalls won't protect us, look at New Orleans. They will have to be absolutely massive seawalls because they will have to account for typhoons, tsunamis and other disasters like earthquakes--even if you did succeed in building one, the minute it collapses that means literally millions and millions dead in an instant.

Here is an article: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/sea-walls-may-be-cheaper-than-rising-waters/

Here is a perfect example of the unbelievable careless attitude I'm seeing:

"I mean humans will do something. We're talking about massive damages if we didn't do anything," said Jochen Hinkel, a senior researcher at the Global Climate Forum and a co-author of the paper.

uhhhhh, but we have known about this for decades and decades, but has that lead to anyone doing anything -NO- in fact, one car company trashed all of its electric cars which could've been powered by solar energy for no reason whatsoever except likely being paid off by big oil.

Now we have one single electric car company run by a lunatic elitist who has decided to make one of the most critical products for wealthy nations a product only the top 5% can afford. This is absolutely irrational, insane, and arguable suicidal behavior and yet the newspapers are content to cover Tesla as if Musk is like an early Ford, whose products only the wealthy could afford at first. HELLO is everyone out there a brainless zombie or what? There is **NO REASON the first widely produced electric cars should be SO DAMN EXPENSIVE, NO REASON WHATSOEVER, WEVE BEEN MAKING CAR BODIES AND ALL THE BASIC TECH FOR OVER 100 YEARS!!!!

It's maniacal, batshit insane human behavior -yet- because Musk has good PR people seem to not see what a GIGANTIC DOUCHEBAG THIS GUY IS, I think solely because the papers compare him to the awesome, kickass Tony Stark- if Ironman was real, Mr.Musk would be a villian that Ironman gives a beat down to.
