Video of "Arab Andy" in court. Legal expert explains that his joke may be protected speech.

And there's the keyboard warrior... We block hate speech because it's only a matter of time before words become actions. Look at Charlottesville. People turned up to peacefully protest the march and someone from the marchers got in his car and mowed down several protesters, as well as a black protester being beaten with metal pipes. That is what hate speech can cause, that is why it needs to be stamped out. I don't give a shit if you don't like that I'm LGBT but when you turn it into a hate fuelled campaign to incite violence on me? That's when things are clearly getting out of hand and the only way to stop it is to strike at the source.

I wish people would understand this. There is a difference between freedom of speech and hate speech. My examples above showed that. Someone can say they dislike certain people and nothing will happen to them. If someone starts inciting a campaign against certain groups of people to do things like deport them and threaten them with violence, that's when that freedom of speech needs to be withdrawn. Violence solves nothing.
