Your reading comprehension is absolute shit. Again, since you seem too fucking stupid to understand this, I don't have a problem with the individuals who make the content. They deserve to be paid well. But there should be pay commensurate with the risks taken when working in fire, not to mention the significant amount of time it takes to obtain those qualifications, and the DNR does not currently offer that. They're still better than USDA and DOI, but they can and should do better.

As it currently stands, the DNR takes a victory lap every time she buys a new helicopter, dozer, or creates a new job, but is suspiciously silent on issues of retention, and just does away with those positions when they can't be filled (see WFOT2). I get it. Franz is going to make a run for governor, and she'll definitely get my vote. But for fuck's sake, there's no point in buying dozers to fight fire if you can't hire enough people with HEQB qualifications.
