just need to hav a synergy option to be qualify for the category, nothing else to it and sader actually do hav to atk enemies too since their atks debuff enemies ele resist decreasing it by upto 60 with resulting in a near 30% dmg boost at max so they arent separated by 1 being more active

wut really separates sader and synergy is actually a bunch of things but its mainly in how they work and the role they play and sader's and synergy's buffs is considered different things by the game itself anyway

synergy

  • multiple synergy effects can only stack twice (later only once at a higher amount but synergies themselves also becomes unaffected by their own synergy buff)

  • increase dmg by a percentage (20% or 25% current and 34% in future)

  • buff potency cannot be changed so the amount is always the same

  • gears the same as every other non-sader class

sader

  • sader's buff cannot be apply to a player while another sader's buff is active on said player nor can saders be buffed by another sader (except for a saint who takes ghost mace thus disabling his ability to support enabling him as a dmg dealer)

  • buffs work by directly increasing stats of party members by a given amount resulting in a dmg boost many times higher then the highest dmg boost synergies can provide

  • buff potency scales off the sader's own raw stats and buff skill's lvl and certain gear's effects resulting in some absurdly large stat boost

  • due to buff scaling off of stats, skill lvls and certain gear they cannot gear like any other class

wut this amounts to is that saders is basically supports that cannot provide anything else but support, they basically sacrificed their ability to contribute any substantial amount of dmg to the party for inflating the potency of their buffs while synergies is basically a dmg dealer that just so happens to bring along a party buff

this is why having "good damage" doesnt make sense here, whether a class has good dmg or not isnt upto them being a synergy or not nor does this mean they would hav bad dmg either, the only thing being a synergy entails is that synergies' dmg is generally scaled lower to balance out the fact that they provide a dmg boost but u can still be a synergy with extremely high dmg regardless or even a pure dealer with absolute shit dmg even with the handicap to synergies, get it?

u said u wanna know how wm's dmg stacks up against a dt right, i mean its higher then her for sure but dt's dmg in our currently balance is like 5th to last and even in the future shes only around the middle of the pack if not the bottom of the middle (though popularity wise shes as high as 7th place as of the most recent popularity poll) which is why i said this is the wrong question here or is this really the standard u wanna measure a wm too?
