What are Trump Supporters opinions on the War on Drugs?

This is something that is well within the powers of the Presidential office and doesn't need congress at all. What President Trump wants is to leave it up to individual states to decide whether pot is legal or not without the Federal government interfering.

The best way to do this would be to instruct the DEA to reschedule pot as something other than a Schedule 1 drug. Downgrade it to whatever is the level of tobacco and alcohol. This does not require congress approval at all and individual states gets to decide for themselves.

So far Obama has had 8 years to do this, but just a week or two ago, Obama's DEA put cannabinoid oil on Schedule 1 drug list probably as a way to fuck with Trump. You can't get high off of this stuff at all. It is basically like fish oil.

Unfortunately for Obama, Trump is a business man. He knows there is a big new billion dollar American industry ready to grow and cut out the Mexican Cartels completely. I think President Trump will be the one to pull the trigger on this issue. He is probably the only person that can pull the establishment GOP to the center on this.
