What would your response be when discussing the news of WH and Kremlin both censoring the same portions out of their official Helsinki transcripts?

it's the official record, and its a question that caused a media controversy.

Again, it's not the nightly news. Its the official government record of the event. Both the written and video record have a doctored question. Here's what was said:

“Did you want President Trump to win the election and did you direct any of your officials to help him do that?”

“Yes, I did. Yes, I did. Because he talked about bringing the U.S.-Russia relationship back to normal.”

Now in the American versions "“Did you want President Trump to win the election" is removed to make it seem like a continuation of the previous topic. In the Russian version, it's gone entirely.

The written versions could have been a mistake of omission, sure. But, the video, which is supposed to be an unabridged record of the live broadcast, well that requires intent to edit.

Pretty odd that all this happened over a question of Russia/US relations and Russia's involvement in the election, hmm?
