Much more powerful GPU.

Again, you can replace the 280X with the GTX 960 if you're a diehard Nvidia fan, but the R9 280X is superior in performance for pretty much everything, so I wouldn't really recommend going for the GTX 960 unless you absolutely need it for a certain reason.
