Paraphilias are all valid, because they are inborn and unchosen/unchangeable Everything tends to be a fair bit genetic, but that doesn't really make it valid. Schizophrenia is partially genetic and incurable, but that doesn't make it "valid" or that it shouldn't be treated. There's just the question of whether it's something that negatively your life and whether it is actually untreatable, which I'd bet most paraphilias are

Removing the cloud of stigma/hate around Paraphilias in general, but specifically pedophilia/nepiophilia/hebephilia/ephebophilia is the best thing society can do if they want to prevent Child Sex Abuse in the first place. If any kind of intimate relationship between an adult and a child is inherently harmful then how would loosening the stigma prevent harm? Incentives are going the exact opposite way
