I was Karen today, don’t know what came over me. Now, idgaf because i might get my come upins since I can’t take it back. Not my proudest moment. I call a pharmacy to ask if they have insulin syringes in stock because my pharmacy is out of stock. They must turn down a lot of drug addicts because the guy sounded annoyed and was very short about it. It pissed me off that he was pissy and I ended up hanging up without acknowledging his last answer, also I was kinda of being pushy as if they would make an exception for me, a non drug addict. I call back to ask about what they had in stock and the guy puts me on hold right away and I wait. I call again and another person answers and I ask for a specific size and she just rattles off, “Do you have a prescription?” and it pissed me off, and I turned into a Karen, “ I’m asking you, do you have such and such in stock?!” And she asks again, and I’m like “I’m asking you what you have in stock, why are you being so difficult!!”. Then I hung up. Not my proudest moment. I don’t think it will matter if I call and apologize. I should know better, I’m also in the same line of work! Posting this doesn’t absolve me for being an asshole. Don’t lose your cool.
