the best, mostly functional mod combo that i play with is as follows: Call of Chernobyl HDpack Arsenal Overhaul 3.1 Outfit Addon 1.4.7.7 Stalker Tweaks TRX-dynamic news revamp TRX A-life Revamp Dr. X Questlines TRX- Zone FM

I've used this combo for CoC ironman mode ever since I downloaded CoC, but I recently added Questlines and Zone FM after finding out they're compatible. The one thing I learned after 5+ hours straight of troubleshooting conflicts is that when it comes to mods, there are two truths: 1. Less is More 2. You can't have it all a small selection of mods will promise a much more fulfilling, more enjoyable playthrough than the classic M.O.D. I.T. U.N.T.I.L. I.T. C.R.A.S.H.E.S. technique. Like i've been playing my current combo for 1.5+ years consistently, and I haven't even tried all the playstyles yet. In accordance to 2, you'll never have your own perfectly envisioned playthrough. I really wanted to have both mutant revamps and territory conquest upgrades, but I had to choose between the two since they were incompatible. It sucks at first, but focusing more narrowly on what kind of modded experience you want will be a lot more enjoyable than a big stew of mods.
