Pro's who play CLAW

Mod deleted my post.

You made some very good points, though.

Personally, I'm not a fan of any of the teams. A couple notes:

  • Dalton has looked great, but I wouldn't be targeting him this week, against a pretty solid Bills defense. Surely, the Bengals will also be pretty decent favorites in that game, and shouldn't have to throw much either. I think things are setting up well for a fairly cheap Rivers to have a big day.

  • Foster's injury history probably scares me a bit too much for me to play him in a cash game lineup. I could change my mind on that though as I do like him. Forte is probably just a bit safer though and should do well again this week.

  • I would probably look to have Julian Edelman in any cash game lineup until his price rises to over $8k.

  • I definitely won't be playing Wright this week. They simply don't throw nearly enough for him to be a cash game play. For similar reasons, I probably wouldn't be looking at Boldin for cash games either.

  • With Dalton, I figure they'll have to throw against a very stout BUF front, similarly to how last weeks game against SEA played out. I stacked him with Green because of BUF's itty-bitty corners, whom I think Green could have a field day against. Besides, the guy's price tag is ludicrous considering what he has been doing to defenses. Besides, the guy's price tag ($5700) is ludicrous considering what he has been doing to defenses.

  • Rivers is interesting, though, I hadn't considered him. $600 more than Dalton, though, and it's hard to love anyone @ Lambo.

  • What do you think of Teddy Bridgewater as a tournament play? Cheap as dirt, healthy match-up, and the whole world was down on that passing game heading into their bye--something I'd imagine they've been working on that for the past couple weeks.

  • At only $100 difference, I was back and forth between Foster and Forte--I believe you're right about the safety thing. If Pozluzny is out again, though, I feel like that JAX match-up is just too scrumptious to pass up. I left the $100 of salary left so that in the case Pozluzny is active, I can make the switch.

  • Edelman is as solid an option as they come, but I like Nuk (a lot) and Green (slightly) more this week. Honestly, I'd be surprised to see his price tag get above $8k at any point this year. Not that I don't think he's ever worth that amount, it's just that with Gronk there, Lafell coming back at some point, Lewis playing so well, and then the weather factor coming into play at some point, I think his current price range is about as high as we'll see it get.

  • Wright got 12 targets in week 3, then only 6 last week. Monday afternoon there was a report that Wright complained to Wisenhunt about his role on offense, saying that he thought he should be more involved. I agree. It's the ol' "squeeky wheel gets the grease" argument. Worked for DeMarco, didn't it? Admittedly, he's probably better suited to a tourney lineup, but that is why I like him this week anyways.

  • Following a week that saw Kaep/Boldin finally connecting again, they have another magnificent match-up this week. Sure, SF could try to run it all day, but they'll still have to throw at some point and BAL's weakness is in their secondary. Boldin should have more than enough opportunity to pay for his measly $4300 price tag.
