What you reap is what you sow

Hi! I found a similar question asked on Quora phrased as "What are some examples of what you sow is what you reap?", so the answer there might help you:

My parent’s life is a good example:My father; he thought he was all that and a bag of chips. .He always wanted to try some get rich quick scheme and he (and that side of the family) thinks he’s smarter than everyone else.

He was always looking for some loophole that he thought he could exploit to get rich with minimal work. .He cheated on my mother a multitude of times, beat her, and when my mom divorced him he didn’t support his two children (my sister and I) in anyway for years. .My mom decided to take him back (after all that!) for the sake of the children but he left because he thought he had a better deal with another women.

Turned out she didn’t have anything. .Then he went to the Philippines to try to find a woman with good job prospects. .He thought he was just going bring her to the States and sit at home while she worked as a dentist (as she was in the Philippines).

Well she decided not to pursue her dentistry career as revenge for using her. .She makes money but now at the age of 63 he’s having to work to support himself plus his three new young children.

One of them having severe (but improving thank God) mental health/behavioral challenges. My mother in contrast worked hard and stuck with her job. .It was really hard the first two years after my father left. .We didn’t have heat in the winter at one point.

She rose through the ranks and retired as a senior analyst. .She kept her morals.

She never set out to cheat or screw anyone over. .Now at 62 my mother is comfortably retired and travels where ever she wants to when she wants to.

I'm just a bot trying to share the love. Sorry if questions are loose matches right now; I'm working on it!
