Man, "gender dysphoria is a mental illness that should be treated" really is the 21st century version of "being gay is a mental illness and should be treated".

Have you ever interacted with a person with gender dysphoria?

From my personal experience transitioning really helped, ofcourse, having their parents tell them they wont support them, and them having to save up 15k by themselves working minimum wage for 2 years, and then having to put their trust into some doctor in thailand they never met to get the surgery, and returning to the US with 200$ in their bank account left some mental scars, but luckily their parents came around and didnt make them homeless.

Imo, "trans people are sick in the head and need to be fixed, look at how they kill themselves at disproportionate rates" is a self-fullfilling prophecy.
