You are completely right, I have been through it myself and it didn’t end well. The start was completely fine and quite freeing, but it just kept building up. We had taken acid a couple up times before and built up gradually, but this was to much. After a while we wasn’t sure what were real or not, at a point I felt like I couldn’t even control my body. I did not have a “bad trip”, but I remembered I was scared for my my other two friends. We of course had a trip sitter, but to have control over 3 people at once is difficult. Things started to get very confusing and long story short my friend jumped of the balcony. He got sent to the hospital right away and me and my friend was taken by the police and sent to the hospital as well for a checkup. The thing that scares me is that even tough all this happend, I wasn’t sure it was completely real until the peak was over.. Forgot to mention that a glass broke and I cut myself by accident, and that could also have ended badly.
