God damn it

Check these things: 1. What does your hospital coverage say is covered? 2. There should be an out of pocket maximum, look for it. That is the most you have to pay in a single year. 3. There will be more bills coming from every doctor and or department billed outside of the hospital bill itself. 4. Go through each bill carefully and make sure everything looks appropriate. They add in charges like aspirin tablets that wouldn't go to a baby. 4. Most hospitals are non- profits, if that hospital is, then check with them and explain you can't pay. If you just ignore it, they will send lawyers to collect. 5. It's possible that your state may have Medicaid with a spend down. That would help you pay any future bills and may qualify you retroactively to cover some of the bill.
