What would you do differently?

Not with the breakup I just had, that one was due to distance and I am talking with him in person so things aren’t 100% final or clear yet. BUT with my first ever break up I learned SO MUCH. It was probably one of the biggest growing moments in my life. The relationship was toxic and I stayed because I thought I was in love but I realized I was in love with who I thought he was. I learned how I should not be treated what kind of red flags I will never ignore again in any sort of relationship. I really learned that if I were to do it again the first time he did something messed up I would have told him off and ran the other way. If your relationship was good, sit down and think of what you liked and didn’t like about the relationship, write it down and help it guide you in the future towards something more that you want. No matter what kind of relationship it was you can take so much away from this experience. Also reflect on how you acted see if theres things you did that were unfair and work on them for future partners. Learn from both of your mistakes.
