The very first thing I do is scan through the big investing subreddits and look for other peoples DD. I'll read through the whole post, every comment, etc. IMO it's a no brainer to check out the research others have done first. If I see a couple DDs that are wary of it then I know not to waste my time. If their DD seems promising then I'll continue researching.

Tradingview usually comes next, the charts are nice and they have a section with chart analysis and some DD (all user submitted). One of the very first things I do on the chart is zoom out to MAX. I look for evidence of PnDs, frequent share dilution, etc. Then I like to check out the last few months volume and look for trends.

Company website and the google news search are my next go tos. I like to scroll through the last year or so of news related to the company.If I feel confident that the company has a good future and that there's stilll ample room to get some solid returns then I'll invest.
