What is your ultimate "petty" story?

I once had a really good striker in the Championship in FM 17 with Wolves, fast, could dribble, the works. Propelled me to the title easily. Naturally, since he was a leading Prem striker level at 19, the big 6 came calling for him. He was valued at €25M and I wanted at least double that for him because there was no way I was finding someone like him as a newly promoted side. I'm talking a player who was so good, he could win games on his own. I couldn't count the amount of game winners he scored out of nowhere.

So Man City comes in with a 40M bid and I politely told them to fuck off, but my kid wants to go and throws a fuss, as they do. He becomes absent from training, is invisible in the few matches before the window closed and whines incessantly to the press. Me being smart, tells him that I'll sell him for €50M but he says I'm valuing him too high (?????) and to stop playing games. I tell him that he's going to rot on the City bench and there's no way Ancelotti of all people puts him in over peak Agüero and an insane Mbappe, but the tantrum continues. City finally offers 50 and I take it, knowing that those funds will allow me to build a solid core.

Surprise surprise, my Wolves side rises to be the best in the world and City are my main rivals, but I make it a point to go all out every time to spite this massive melt of a man. Over a 6 year stretch, I beat City in every title final and knockout I faced them in, and the kid never even made the bench in any game City played because every year they seemed to splash millions on a new striker. He eventually was transfer listed but by this point had become championship level from never getting a game.

I bought him and never played him, and this man retired playing for my U-23s with only the Championship and U23 trophies to his name. Never hated a player more.
