Haha lol my situation was actually the opposite. I was managing this first league Ukrainian side. We unexpectedly exceeded the expectation and was on the way of winning the league. However when there were 5 games left I was at the top of the table with only 1 point ahead of the 2nd. However out of nowhere I lost all five games at the end of the season against 3 teams who were battling for relegation and other 2 mid table team. But even more surprisingly the team who were 1 point behind me unbelievablely lost 4 of their games and drew one at home lmaooo. At the end I won the league by 3 goals difference. It was the most exciting and the luckiest moment in my whole fm career haha.
