What's the stickies situation you've ever been in while in the wild?

This was the closest to a sticky situation I've been in when I was 16 with my older cousin.

So we went for a hike in the karamea on the west coast of NZ which was supposed to be a infil for 2 days, set up a camp and leave food exfil grab more food, pack that shit back in and stay for 2 weeks before leaving.

He let me do the navigation at the start and due to my inexperience I got pretty lost. Ended up walking to the top of hills trying to get a location and walking round and around for 5 days before we ran out of food and I was shitting bricks. I was truly scared and had no idea where to go. Ended up breaking down that night before my cousin told me that not only did he have a GPS and spare food but he knew exactly where we were - he was recon in the nz army and was literally fucking with me the entire time. I guess it helped me know what not to do if I ever get lost and also motivated me to learn navigation properly and join the army. I was never the soldier he was but it was cool.
