4 bed semi detached house. Approx 170 sqm. It’s brick built in 1913. We bought it because we prefer older homes - they have nice high ceilings, big rooms and period features vs the relatively bland and cramped new builds. The downside is poor insulation but we are working on improving it.

Washer is in a separate little “larder” area which is quite a luxury for the U.K. I think. We have space for a dryer there but don’t see the point in them wasting energy when we have ample space for drying racks.

No garage, but a small driveway and front garden. An unusual feature is a bunker in the garden which is rare for the UK. We also have the original servant calling box thing (buttons in each room and a box in the kitchen indicates who is calling). Although this isn’t used!
