What is your favorite touristic experience in Europe that isn't full of other tourists?

Personally I think they would have a nice fig industry in the south if the government would help a little with that. Instead it's one big fire hazard and little social benefits. So if something happens to your company, you're likely on your own.

In the north they have more space for farming and perhaps power generation with some of their rivers. That said Croatia is a very export unfriendly country, with one of the highest export taxes of Europe. Croatia should really invest in their own people, before it's too late and they're with too few people to do so.

That said they did change taxation a little bit, but I don't think it's better than before. In the past Croatia didn't tax some parts of the tourist industry. Like for example camping sites, hotels, motels ect. RN they only have a tax exemption for hotels. Which means that the rich (that own a hotel) doesn't get taxed, but the average landowner who wants to use that land does. IMO it should be the other way around.

As for education, at this time it's really bad and if Croatia wants to keep their citizens, they should offer more and more affordable education, while lowering export taxes, so bigger companies have a reason to move to Croatia. They could use all of the proximity to the sea to become a mayor import and export economy. Give people a reason to ship by ship.

Funny thing: I talked to a couple of people in Croatia that do have a product, but they just don't know how to export it. This could be solved by giving more economics classes and teaching the Croatian people English at a decent level, because it really isn't hard to sell their product. Talking about: Figs, Tomatoes, Hay. All of these products can easily sell in colder climates. Especially if they get a production line to
