What's your opinion on the current state of Cyber security?

I think AI will be ubiquitous in 10 years. We will have AI hardening networks in 15.

We’ll have incident response companies that just give an AI access to the network and figure out who did what. Then there will be AI’s that will be better at attribution so we know, or at least have a good idea of who attacked us.

Eventually, I’d say around 20 years we will have AI sysadmins.

You would hope companies would take cybersecurity seriously now that it’s affecting their bottom dollar with Ransomeware but that isn’t happening. The most these companies are losing is their deductible on their ransomeware insurance.

We will probably stagnate for a while because we keep enabling these big corporations to keep being shitty.
